Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract. CSOs will enforce federal law and protect court proceedings while maintaining safety and order.

Roles include entrance screening, roving and stationary post duties, escorting judges and court personnel, and traffic control. Candidates must meet strict education and experience requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of verifiable law enforcement experience within the last seven years.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; DOJ clearance.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control with security screening to detect weapons and contraband.
• Roaming patrols of court facilities and grounds per post orders.
• Monitor CCTV, duress alarms, and other security equipment at posts.
• Provide armed escort services for judges, staff, and jurors as directed.
• Direct traffic and manage parking/pedestrian flow where applicable.
• Enforce federal law and secure court facilities and proceedings.
• Prepare reports on incidents and contract performance.
