Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers (CSOs) to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Duties include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escorting court personnel as needed.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of verifiable law enforcement or military experience with general arrest authority, plus a valid driver's license and DOJ clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or military equivalent.
• Must have general arrest authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control, screening for weapons and contraband.
• Rove court facilities and grounds per post orders.
• Stand at stationary posts, monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel as directed.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court facilities where applicable.
• Enforce federal law and protect government property and people.
