Walden Security currently recruits experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Responsibilities include controlling entry, patrolling facilities, guarding courtrooms, and escorting judges and staff, while maintaining order and safety. The role requires a high school diploma, law enforcement experience, English fluency, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; three years of verifiable law enforcement or military security experience within last seven years.
• Language: Proficient English reading, writing, speaking and understanding.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license with clean record; DOJ clearance; completion of certified law enforcement training academy.
• Age and background: Must be at least 21; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Medical: Must meet USMS medical standards.

Responsabilités

• Enforce entry control and screen for weapons and prohibited items.
• Roaming and stationary post security at courthouses.
• Provide armed escort for judges and court personnel when required.
• Direct traffic and parking on facility properties.
• Prepare incident and performance reports.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect rooms before proceedings.
• Preserve order by enforcing federal law and judicial orders.
