Job summary

So Cal Training Team Media Group in California seeks an Administrator to operate an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) in full compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations and the CCR program design. The position requires 24/7 on-call responsibility and leadership over staff, with ongoing education and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include oversight of medication management, record maintenance, audits, and coordination with Regional Center contracts.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain current ARF Administrator Certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass criminal record clearance (Live Scan).
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience in admin/managerial role with ID/neurological disorders.
• Experience handling challenging behaviors (mouthing, self-injury, aggression, verbal outbursts, property damage).
• Expertise in anger management, crisis intervention/management, leadership and staff supervision, quality assurance & regulatory compliance.
• Must have Regional Center Residential Services Orientation (RSO) certificate before providing services.
• Experience with transition processes and RRDP or State Developmental Centers.
• Health screening and TB clearance; First Aid & CPR certification.
• Excellent written and spoken English; willingness to undergo random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer the facility in accordance with state regulations, policies, and budget.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, evaluate, and terminate staff as needed.
• Develop and implement a staff training plan.
• Organize a 7-day orientation for direct care staff (IPP, medical histories, diagnoses, behavioral support).
• Participate in IPP, Transition, and IDT meetings; submit quarterly progress reports.
• Maintain client and facility files per CCR Title 17 §56059; audit documentation daily.
• Manage expenditures (groceries, utilities, labor, operations) and resident funds.
• Ensure emergency drills are conducted and documented; safe environment.
