Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team and drive safe, productive operations in our distribution center. You will manage 20 to 30 associates, hire, evaluate, develop, coach, and discipline as needed to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

You will oversee process adherence, identify improvements, coach staff, monitor productivity and safety, plan staffing to meet business needs, and handle additional duties as directed by the Operations

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Flexibility to work various shifts; ability to relocate.
2+ years supervisory experience in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead hourly team and ensure procedures followed; identify improvements.
Coach and develop associates; conduct evaluations and hire/discipline as needed.
Maintain inventory accuracy and improve key metrics (productivity, quality, cost).
Coordinate operations with the team to ensure staffing and performance meet business plans.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or General Manager.
