Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive efficient, safe operations in a Washington distribution center. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed, supervising 20–30 staff and coordinating with management.

Responsibilities include enforcing processes, coaching for productivity and quality, maintaining inventory accuracy, and planning staffing to meet business goals. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocation to the DC area.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 to 30 hourly associates and lead daily operations.
• Ensure processes are followed and propose changes to leadership.
• Coach and develop associates; conduct evaluations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key metrics.
• Assist in business planning and staffing to meet goals.
