Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and manage general operations when acting as Manager on Duty. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising Associates, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-merchandised environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment on the sales floor.
• Supervise Associates and ensure smooth store operations.
• Execute and supervise Company processes as needed.
• Provide Front End supervision to manage lines and customer flow.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and shortage control.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention and merchandising standards.
