Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise operations during the Manager on Duty shift. You will ensure opening/closing duties, supervise associates, maintain a safe and organized shopping environment, and execute company processes with urgency and accuracy.

The role requires strong customer service, English fluency, and the ability to manage merchandising, stock, and front-end activities while supporting store leadership.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain a safe, easy-to-shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Lead front-end operations and cash-handling procedures.
• Perform payroll administration and other administrative duties as assigned by store manager.
• Uphold loss prevention and daily store maintenance standards.
