Ross Stores in United States – Illinois region seeks an Area Supervisor to lead store operations, supervise Associates, and ensure a safe, customer-friendly environment. You will oversee opening/closing, merchandising standards, and loss prevention, while coaching staff on POS usage and front-end procedures.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail setting. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Open and close the Store and supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Maintain safe and secure environments and correct unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers, shortage control policies and Front End procedures.
• Lead Front End supervision and optimize customer wait times.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
