Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor in California to join the Store Leadership team. You will oversee a specific area and assist in store operations as Manager on Duty, including opening/closing, supervising Associates and maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You'll lead front-end operations, merchandising, safety, loss prevention and staff development while ensuring company standards and efficiency across assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication skills are essential.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Prior supervisory and customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in retail.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
