Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated store area and oversee operations as the Manager on Duty. You will supervise associates, ensure proper merchandise presentation, and maintain a clean, customer-friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing routines, enforcing safety measures, and executing Company processes while supporting loss prevention and daily store activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervising associates while the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Support loss prevention and safe store operations.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers, policies and procedures.
