Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our team in Savannah, GA. You will oversee a specific store area, supervise associates, and manage daily operations as the Manager on Duty to ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will drive merchandise presentation, backroom organization, and front-end performance while maintaining safety, security, and compliance with company policies. Prior supervisory and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates when Manager on Duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Provide leadership to ensure safety and loss prevention practices are followed.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and frontline procedures.
• Manage front end staffing and ensure efficient customer flow.
