Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated store area and oversee operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close, supervise associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandising.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, executing company processes, leading front-end operations, and driving loss prevention and stockroom organization. Strong communication and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Fluency in English.
Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Open/close the store and supervise Associates when acting as Manager on Duty.
Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment with proper merchandise presentation.
Execute and supervise Company operational processes and store safety programs.
Ensure loss prevention controls and front-end efficiency are maintained.
Train and coach Associates on cash registers and store procedures.
Manage back stock, stockroom organization and floor merchandising.
