Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is looking for an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific area of the store and the general operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close, supervise associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.

You will also lead front-end supervision, train associates on cash registers, ensure safety, and execute company best practices while maintaining loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates as needed.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes and loss prevention.
• Train, coach and manage front-end operations to optimize customer flow.
• Ensure safety, compliance and proper handling of stockroom/pages.
