Job summary

A leading company in energy technology seeks a Sales Manager to support the sales team and enhance product promotion through webinars and presentations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in power solutions sales. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills to effectively influence customer specifications and grow business in the assigned territories.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Power Quality solution sales.
  • Familiarity with Surge Arresters and Instrument transformers.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines on project execution.

Job description

The ASM support the sales organization and customers throughout the sales process within a specific-assigned area. This function reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager

  • Increase new and existing sales and business by supporting the Sales organization
  • Promote Hitachi Energy products internally and externally by providing webinars, seminars, presentations, Lunch & Learns etc…
  • Influence customer specifications.
  • Create sales plans jointly with FES, REPS and Account organization.
  • Bid operations
    • Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by local Sales organization.
  • Ensures efficient marketing actions and communication to local Sales organization and customers.
  • Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
  • Communicates the value proposition of the products, systems, service and packages.

Additional knowledge and experience that would be beneficial:

  • Power Quality solution sales, terminology, products (capacitors, reactors, filters)
  • Surge Arresters solution sales function, application and terminology
  • Instrument transformer solution sales, applications, and terminology
  • Solution sales with electrical utilities, renewable/epc's, and heavy industrial customers
  • Cross discipline collaboration on project execution
  • Promotional sales and marketing of a global manufacturer's equipment
  • Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering Preferred)
