Job summary

Burkert USA Corporation is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Emerging Industries. You will drive growth across power generation, semiconductor, metal die casting, gas handling and other industrial applications within your geographic area.

You will execute the company sales plan through direct sales, distribution partners, key account teams and other ASM peers to exceed business results. Extensive travel is required to support customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent certified completed technical training courses.
• 5+ years of sales and technical experience in the specific market required.
• 50% or higher travel depending on region; willingness to travel to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Be the entrepreneur responsible for growth in market development and customer growth.
• Execute sales plan using direct sales, distribution partners and KAM teams.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for Burkert portfolio for on-site sales calls.
• Acquire new customers while deepening existing relationships.
• Drive specifications of Burkert solutions at OEMs, A&E firms, integrators and end users.
• Coordinate with sales team and cross-functional colleagues to achieve business aims.
• Collaborate with Marketing for product launches, trade shows, web tools and campaigns.
• Identify new opportunities within industrial markets aligned with Burkert areas.
• Input activities into CRM (Dynamics) and track defined CRM KPIs.
• Support customers and distributors with business development by providing training and information.
