ABB in Brno is hiring an Area Sales Manager for the Medium Voltage Switchgear unit. You will drive sales internationally, manage customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities while collaborating with internal ABB teams. The role requires an electrical engineering background, bilingual capabilities, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to read technical electrical documentation and provide tailored solutions.
• English at B2 level; Czech or Slovak language skills are an advantage.
• Independent, proactive, and team-oriented with strong commercial thinking.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales and build relationships across international markets.
• Identify new customers and opportunities in collaboration with local ABB teams.
• Represent ABB at trade fairs and events.
• Support marketing activities and provide technical advice.
• Collaborate with Bid Engineering on technical and commercial offers.
• Monitor market trends and gather competitive intelligence.
• Work in a hybrid model.

You’ll drive sales across international markets, manage customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. We offer a strong team, quality products, an established customer base, daily use of English, and international customer visits and business trips.

Drive sales and represent the ABB brand across assigned international markets Identify new customers, business opportunities and leads in cooperation with local ABB organizations Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and visits Represent ABB at trade fairs, exhibitions and industry seminars Contribute to the development of the sales strategy Support and execute marketing activities Provide technical advice and tailored solutions to customers Collaborate with internal ABB teams to deliver projects, especially with the Bid Engineering team on technical and commercial offers Monitor market trends and gather competitive intelligence Model of work: hybrid

Требования:
