Job summary

ABB is seeking a Project Manager for the Global Solutions Execution Center in Brno to lead customized projects for medium- and low-voltage modular switchgear from order assignment to customer handover.

The role emphasizes organization, clear communication, and proactive management of technical solutions, changes, schedules, and costs. Occasional international travel is expected as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Secondary or university technical degree; mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
• English at B2–C1 level.
• Experience with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customized projects for medium- and low-voltage modular switchgear from order to handover.
• Ensure profitability and on-time delivery; coordinate with design, engineers and other teams.
• Clarify technical order documentation with customers and implement changes with cost implications.
• Monitor project schedules and financial performance; travel occasionally.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Global Solutions Execution Center in Brno as a Project Manager. The main responsibility of this role is to manage customized projects for medium- and low-voltage modular switchgear systems – from order assignment to customer handover. We are seeking an organized, communicative person with a passion for the technical field. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Global Solutions Execution center Managing projects with regard to profitability, on-time delivery, and technical solutions Technical clarification of order documentation with the customer Participating in the design and implementation of technical solutions Handling customer-driven changes during the project, including applying additional costs, etc. Monitoring and evaluating project schedules and financial performance Communicating across the project team (designers, engineers, etc.) Performing necessary administrative tasks Occasional business travel abroad
