SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Austin is seeking an Area Assistant Director of Sales to drive occupancy and revenue across a group of hotels. You will guide a Sales team, coach managers, and oversee budgets, forecasts, and marketing plans to turn ideas into results.

The role requires 4+ years in hotel sales, strong communication, and analytical skills. A driving license is required; the job is on-site with a franchisee-owned property. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hotel sales experience preferred; alternate: 4-year degree + 1 year experience or 2-year degree + 2 years experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent verbal/written communication and professional selling skills
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organization abilities; proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and lead diverse teams
• Experienced in sales/marketing principles; comfortable with financial data and working under pressure

Responsabilités

• Coordinate group, transient, and catering sales to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Lead the sales team to consistently hit targets and make events unforgettable.
• Develop budgets and creative marketing plans to exceed goals.
• Lead outside sales calls, property tours, and client entertainment while negotiating contracts.
• Monitor account performance and market trends, setting proactive strategies.
