Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates in a dynamic, on-site warehouse environment.

You will mentor, motivate, and develop your team while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication and operational presence.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and climb stairs as required.
