Job summary

Amazon is seeking Area Managers for on-site roles in its Operations network. You will lead and develop a team of 50-100 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while managing shifts that can include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, with a focus on mentoring, problem-solving, and delivering results on time. Relocation benefits may be offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment where applicable.
• Lead a team to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Coach and develop team members and remove roadblocks.
