Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Florence, NJ to lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will influence customer delivery accuracy by engaging your team across shifts and coordinating with cross-functional partners to meet service expectations.

The role requires 2+ years of management experience, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud.
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather.
