Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across our fulfillment network. You will drive safety, quality, and performance while coordinating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet delivery promises.

The role requires lifting, long shifts, and adapting to varied environments across first, middle, and last mile operations. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 2+ years of Amazon experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen approaches.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable noise and temperatures.
• Work across First/Middle/Last mile operations.
