AvantStay is seeking an Assistant Area Manager to support the Area Manager across AvantStay properties in the designated area. You will audit properties, manage supplies, respond to guest and owner concerns, and travel frequently to sites to ensure operations run smoothly.

The role requires two-plus years in hospitality or customer-facing roles, ability to work weekends/holidays, a valid driver's license, and proximity to properties. An ARM designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience
• Willingness to travel within the designated area
• Responsive via Slack and email

Responsibilities

• Report to local manager and act as market lead in their absence
• Serve as point of contact for property owners and review owner distribution statements
• Meet AvantStay standards and metrics related to owner satisfaction
• Collaborate with in-market team to train, coach and evaluate field operations personnel
• Monitor guest/owner issues and ensure timely resolution with quality checks
• Proactively identify issues at properties and assign rectification duties as needed
• Perform essential non-manual administrative duties to support daily operations
• Coordinate housekeeping or routine maintenance tasks at properties
• Maintain inventory levels of consumables and linens for the market
• Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with AvantStay standards
• Address guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls, texts, Slack, tickets
• Travel frequently within the area to support operations
• Participate in rotating on-call after hours for market support
