Job summary

AvantStay is hiring an Assistant Area Manager to oversee our short-term rental properties in the designated area. You will audit properties, manage supplies, and respond to owner and guest concerns, with frequent travel to sites and on-call after hours.

You will coordinate housekeeping and maintenance, ensure inventory levels, and uphold AvantStay standards to maximize guest satisfaction. Must reside in the designated area and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Vacation rental industry experience preferred.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Ability to work weekends and holidays with a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Audit properties, manage supplies, and respond to concerns to ensure guest experience.
• Serve as a reliable owner contact and review distribution statements.
• Maintain AvantStay standards and owner satisfaction metrics.
• Monitor guest/homeowner issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify issues and coordinate with vendors for rectification.
• Support daily operations with minimal supervision.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintenance tasks across properties.
• Ensure inventory of consumables and linens is adequate.
• Conduct regular property inspections for compliance.
• Respond to emails, calls, texts, Slack messages, and tickets.
• Travel frequently within the designated area; participate in rotating on-call.
