Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Concord, NC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees, driving safety, quality, attendance and on-time deliveries. You will guide and engage staff to exceed customer expectations and align with our three-mile workflow, from first to last mile, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring the team, coordinating with Safety, Ops Integration and HR, lifting up to 49 pounds, and working weekends or overnight shifts in varied locations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours
• Work in environments with variable noise, temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
