Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Garner, NC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly workers and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance on shift. You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to ensure timely delivery and maintain customer expectations.

You will mentor staff, manage productivity, and align plans across First/Middle/Last mile operations, with growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding fulfillment network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
