Job summary

Ross Dress for Less Gonzales is seeking an Area Supervisor who will be a member of Store Leadership, responsible for a specific area and overall store operations when on duty. The role involves opening/closing, supervising associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandising.

You will implement company best practices, ensure safety, oversee front-end operations, and support payroll and administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and English fluency.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Retail experience with customer service.
• Knowledge of POS equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates.
• Maintain a safe, secure shopping environment and report hazards.
• Ensure proper merchandising presentation and clean work areas.
• Support Front End procedures, staffing, and customer flow.
• Assist with loss prevention and compliance with company policies.
• Aid Store Manager with payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
