Job summary

Ingersoll Rand's Pomona, CA Customer Center is seeking an Area Specialist to provide a broad range of administrative support across three California and Arizona locations. You will assist with cash flow, policy compliance, health & safety initiatives, and facility oversight, while collaborating with HR and Finance on related activities.

This role reports to the Area Operations Manager and supports sales, service, or operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Financial acumen, problem solving, and data analytics skills required for success.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resolution of disputed customer invoices, process portal invoices, manage credit memos, reconcile cash & credit card transactions, and assist with credit worthiness decisions.
• Organize new customer and/or new vendor account set-up and manage customer account changes. Ensure compliance with Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI).
• Manage indirect purchasing to ensure Customer Centers are properly resourced (facility services, office equipment, and office & safety supplies).
• Manage phones, process incoming and outgoing mail, and handle all office filing.
• Completing customer/contractor forms/questionnaires and requesting certificate of insurance.
• Manage training calendar and employee engagement events, including ordering catering and supplies.
• Collaborate with local Service Supervisor to coordinate facility maintenance, and ensure employment law and EHS regulatory compliance.
• Work with Finance to manage data for reporting and decision-making.
