Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Naples, FL seeks an experienced Area Sales Manager I to lead residential mortgage loan origination efforts. You will develop referral networks, mentor a team of MLOs, and drive production while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years residential mortgage sales experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
• Strong leadership, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead by example with high integrity.
• Strong sales coaching skills and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster referral source relationships (realtors, builders, professional contacts).
• Develop a sales culture and sales-focused environment within the team.
• Develop and foster relationships with Financial Center personnel to build business and referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company policies and procedures.
• Manage a team of at least 5 MLOs and supervise production and KPIs.
• Lead business plan reviews with the sales team and drive volume growth.
