Apex Water and Process is seeking an Area Manager to drive growth across Central/Southern Ohio. You will lead business development, mentor a team of Account Managers, and build long-term customer partnerships in the water treatment space.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with marketing and sales teams to meet regional targets and uphold safety and ethics standards.

Qualifications

• 4 years in technical sales and service in industrial water treatment or related industry.
• 2 years of team leadership or mentorship experience.
• Knowledge of cooling tower systems, steam generation and closed-loop water systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to internal systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead business development activities and grow Apex’s customer base in the region.
• Mentor and lead a team of Account Managers to achieve growth and retention goals.
• Sell and service strategic accounts while building long-term partnerships.
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals.
• Drive performance reviews, training, and skill development within the team.
• Collaborate on marketing and sales campaigns and respond to RFPs.
• Provide feedback to senior leadership on market conditions and team performance.
• Maintain records of sales activity, pricing, and regional reporting.
• Manage expenses and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
