Job summary

AvantStay in New York is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations of our multi-site properties, working with maintenance, housekeeping and operations teams. You will supervise staff, hire and train, and coordinate tasks to meet guest expectations.

The role requires travel within the market, close proximity to sites, and the ability to handle owner relations, resolve guest and homeowner issues promptly, and keep AvantStay standards high.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management across multi-site locations.
• 2+ years in people management.
• 2+ years in homeowner relations.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, walk, and drive between properties.
• Able to bend, kneel, lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; CRM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising and managing market staff.
• Communicate with property owners and review statements.
• Address guest and homeowner issues and escalations promptly.
• Meet AvantStay standards and owner-satisfaction metrics.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine maintenance across properties.
• Travel daily to properties to oversee operations.
