Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the operations of several multifamily communities under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration and risk management.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Travel 25-50% annually for property visits and conferences.

Qualifications

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff using company directives.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor cost controls.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices timely.
• Travel 25-50% of work time annually for site visits and conferences.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years housing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple multifamily communities under Regional Manager.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures; coaching and development.
• Promote staff leadership and strong customer service across properties.
• Achieve NOI through cost control and revenue/leasing improvements; analyze trends.
• Develop annual budgets/forecasts and monitor contracts for large projects.
