Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for its Wisconsin facilities. This full-time, on-site role leads 50–100 direct-report Associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity while providing coaching and development.

You will work a schedule that includes nights and weekends, participate in shift huddles, walk the floor to resolve issues, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts as orders reach customers.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor regularly to stay connected to your team and spot issues early.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity in real time.
• Oversee truck deliveries and sort packages using pallet jacks and PIT equipment.
• Lead shift huddles and ensure readiness at start of shift.
