Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services seeks an Area Manager to oversee daily operations across CA sites. You will manage client and employee retention, crew productivity, safety, and contract adherence while guiding labor planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities include directing production, reviewing timecards, communicating with clients and project managers, and driving toward annual sales goals. Leadership and bilingual communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years related landscape management experience.
• Proficient English reading/writing; Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and schedules.
• Strong leadership and customer relations skills.
• Drivers license; ability to obtain pesticide license/CLT within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of sites within assigned territory.
• Serve as client point-of-contact for day-to-day site issues and resolve needs.
• Schedule, assign, and direct production teams to meet contract specs and budgets.
• Monitor safety and enforce safety trainings on each site.
• Review timecards and analyze cost reports and budget variances.
• Direct supervision of 2-4 crews and coordinate labor plans.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on client communication and projects.
• Aim to meet or exceed annual sales goals.
