Job summary

Landsystems, part of Monarch Landscape Companies, seeks a Commercial Landscape Area Manager to oversee daily operations across sites including Encinitas, CA. You will manage client relations, crew productivity, and safety while ensuring contract standards and budgets are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of experience, and licenses including a pesticide applicator and CLT eligibility. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture or Horticulture preferred.
• At least 5 years related work experience.
• Valid driver license; state requirements apply.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Certified Landscape Technician (CLT), or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client point-of-contact for day-to-day site issues and address client needs.
• Conduct walkthroughs with client and company representatives as appropriate.
• Schedule and direct field staff to ensure services meet contract specifications, on budget and on schedule.
• Communicate tasks to production teams to provide a high quality product for clients.
• Lead and develop staff; foster professional development.
