Amazon Sparrows Point, MD is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting delivery commitments. You will engage the team during shifts to optimize operations across First/Middle/Last mile workflows.

The role requires managing a flexible schedule, with potential weekend or night shifts, and a background in process improvements or lean methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

Responsabilités

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours
• Work in variable temperatures and weather conditions
• Climb and descend stairs as needed in sites with stairs
