Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Virginia is seeking Area Managers to lead hourly teams, drive safety and quality, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will engage and develop staff across shifts, while collaborating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• 2 years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in a loud environment with variable temperatures and weather.
