Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Georgia to lead 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will motivate, mentor, and develop your team, ensuring safety, quality, and performance while meeting daily goals.

The role includes shift work, nights and weekends, on-site facilities, extensive training, and opportunities to grow across the Operations network.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT. equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).
• As an Area Manager, lead a team, solve real problems, and directly impact how millions of customers receive their orders.
