Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Ohio to lead a team of hourly workers and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will ensure customer orders are delivered on time to the right location while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role supports a fast-paced fulfillment network, with opportunities for growth as new sites launch annually. A flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and nights are often required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in variable temperatures and weather conditions
• Continually climb and descend stairs where applicable
