Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates across our WW Operations network in Ohio. You will engage your team during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring on-time customer deliveries.

The role covers First/Middle/Last mile workflows with cross-functional collaboration to meet business objectives. A flexible schedule including weekends and nights is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in a loud environment with variable temperatures and weather.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
