Job summary

Amazon Valley View in Ohio is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance across shifts. You will engage your team to meet customer delivery promises and coordinate with cross-functional partners to optimize operations.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods; a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years with Amazon satisfy basic qualifications. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures.
