Job summary

GridHawk LLC in Toledo, OH is seeking an Area Manager to lead and supervise field teams responsible for locating and documenting underground utilities. You will dispatch crews, audit fieldwork, ensure safety compliance, and maintain schedules while coordinating with clients and management.

Ideal candidates bring multiple years of locating and supervision experience, ability to train new hires, and a proven track record of reliability, accuracy, and timely reporting in a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency (GED).
• Multiple years locating and pipeline technician experience.
• Multiple years (2-3 years preferred) of supervising locating and pipeline technicians.
• Documentation of excellent quality ratio within locating industry.
• Pass a Background screening (no violations within the last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling of contractors and sub-contractors to meet production targets.
• Route tickets to optimize efficiency and ensure accurate documentation.
• Audit fieldwork and ensure compliance with client regulations and safety standards.
• Manage project teams and provide direction, training, and support to staff.
• Review documents and reports; ensure timesheets are accurate and filed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
