Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Area Manager and field team, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with client and state requirements. This role combines office leadership with active field work, including auditing, locating, and documenting pipeline locations, while enforcing safety and company policies.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years locating and pipeline technician experience and 3-5 years managing teams, with a strong emphasis on quality of work and DOT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years locating and pipeline technician experience.
• 3-5 years managing locating and pipeline technicians.
• Documentation of excellent quality ratio in locating industry.
• Pass a DOT drug screen, background screening and MVR with no violations in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Area Manager and team to ensure tasks are performed per client/state requirements.
• Dispatch and guide team in auditing, locating, verifying and fixing problems for utility clients' plants.
• Provide direction and training on proper use of equipment for new hires and team members.
• Oversee field and office activities, ensuring safety policies are followed and work is scheduled efficiently.
• Review documents, safety messages, and daily production targets; adjust as needed.
