Job summary

GridHawk LLC in Ohio is seeking an Area Manager to lead and supervise the team, protect the coverage area, and ensure compliance with client and state regulations. The role involves directing the team, coordinating dispatch, auditing tasks, and guiding field operations, both office and in the field.

You will train new hires, manage workloads, and ensure documentation accuracy for locating and pipeline work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Multiple years locating and pipeline technician experience preferred.
• 2-3 years supervising locating and pipeline technicians preferred.
• Documented high quality results within the locating industry.
• Background check required (no violations within last 3 years).
• Must pass DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team, overseeing daily operations within the area.
• Dispatch, audit, locate, verify and fix issues for utility clients.
• Direct field work and office duties; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training to new hires and coach team members on proper techniques.
• Ensure all timesheets and documentation meet client regulations and standards.
