Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Area Manager, Early Career to lead and develop a team of 50-100 associates in one of our U.S. facility locations. You will mentor staff, maintain safety and quality standards, and drive productivity on a fast-paced warehouse floor.

This is an on-site, full-time early career role in a fulfillment environment across VA/MD with opportunities to grow across operations. You will experience hands-on leadership and direct impact on customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor and monitor operations to keep things running smoothly.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity targets in real time.
• Shift patterns may include nights, weekends, and holidays; most sites run a 4-day work week with 3 days off.
