MultiVersity Housing Partners is seeking a Full-Time Leasing Professional to join its expanding Pittsburgh Portfolio, which includes student and multifamily housing.

Note: Candidates must reside in Pittsburgh or be willing to relocate. Travel to multiple sites will be required.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Leasing
2. Greet potential residents
3. Answer calls and encourage visits to the property
4. Show and lease apartments, emphasizing the value of our offerings
5. Close leases successfully after showings
6. Communicate current specials and promotions
7. Address and resolve questions/concerns promptly
8. Pursue leads and achieve leasing goals
9. Process lease agreements, including qualifying applicants, background and credit checks, and lease execution

Marketing

1. Research new marketing channels
2. Recommend and implement marketing strategies
3. Organize resident events and activities
4. Build rapport with residents and foster a welcoming environment

Administrative Tasks

1. File and prepare correspondence
2. Manage mailings and input service requests

Reporting & Physical Maintenance

1. Accurately report financial and operational data
2. Inspect grounds and assist with unit inspections and move-ins/outs

Projects

Assist with various projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of customer service, sales, or community experience

Preferred:

• Experience in property management leasing or related fields
• Participation in Fair Housing training

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with in-house systems like OneSite is a plus
• Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical tasks as described

Work Environment:

The role primarily involves working in a temperature-controlled office with some outdoor marketing activities, constituting up to 20% of work time.
