Objective

The Leasing Consultant assists in the successful leasing of our properties. Provides excellent customer service and ensures resident and prospect satisfaction while supporting the daily operations of the property. The role emphasizes teamwork to meet company and owner objectives. The position also requires compliance with all applicable Fair Housing Regulations.

Major Responsibilities
  • Lease apartments and maintain a satisfactory closing ratio.
  • Understand the property, surrounding area, competition, and local amenities.
  • Communicate effectively with prospects about community features.
  • Develop compelling telephone presentations to attract potential residents, addressing objections effectively.
  • Stay informed about market conditions and competitors, providing updates to the Property Manager.
  • Conduct market surveys and visit competitor properties to gather information.
  • Recommend marketing strategies to enhance vacancy appeal.
  • Familiarize with office procedures for efficient management.
  • Document resident interactions accurately.
  • Prepare leases and coordinate move-in appointments.
  • Pre-qualify applicants according to resident selection criteria.
  • Verify credit, employment, and rental references.
  • Engage in outreach marketing, corporate calling, direct mail, and other market activities as directed.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment to ensure organizational success.

Requirements
