Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Area Human Resources Director to lead HR across multiple divisions and units. You will partner with the Area President, General Managers and local managers to align business goals with workforce strategies.

The role requires deep experience in employee relations, labor relations and talent development, with responsibility for compensation, benefits, and diversity initiatives. Expect 50% travel and executive-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• Employee relations experience and strong HR leadership required.
• Experience leading HR for multiple operating locations.
• Knowledge of employment law including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, NLRA, and collective bargaining.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and administration of HR for operations.Partner with Area President and local managers to align business objectives with employees.
• Oversee talent management, training, compensation, benefits and HR programs across divisions.
• Travel 50% as part of regional leadership responsibilities.
