Job summary

Trane Technologies in Rocklin, CA is seeking a dynamic Area General Manager to lead our Commercial Sales Offices, drive profit, revenue growth, and market share, and serve as the Sales Leader for Reno, Fresno and Las Vegas.

You will oversee customer relationships, hiring and development of sales teams, pricing, and forecasting while upholding company policies. A bachelor’s degree and HVAC sales leadership experience are required, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum ten (10) years of HVAC industry or related experience is a plus.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive sales managerial experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual and long-term financial goals for the Sales Offices, achieving profit, volume, margins and share targets.
• Provide leadership for customer and district sales management, new customer acquisition, pricing, and forecasting using Trane tools.
• Coordinate with Account Managers across diverse business portfolios to meet development needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and operational integrity across offices.
• Support talent strategies including recruitment, engagement, retention and inclusion.
